The Community Alliance for Education and Hunger Relief is a partnership of many institutions and organizations. As partners, we combine our assets and strengths to increase the amount of fresh fruit and vegetables available to hunger relief organizations. In the process, we provide formal and informal educational opportunities to the community regarding large-scale food production.

Perfect for ongoing learning with parents and their children, the Friday Garden Club meets in the morning of the the first, second and fourth Fridays throughout the summer.  Families help maintain and harvest vegetables from the Children’s Service Learning Garden, plant new starts in the greenhouse, pick fruit in the orchards — however they can help.  This is a flexible and low key activity to share with your children.  For more information about how your family can participate, contact us.
